Owned and operated by Lise Gagnon, the Clear Springs Golf Course is built on land that once served as the family farm. An excellent course throughout, Clear Springs has well maintained tree lined fairways and medium to large bent grass greens. Deep bunkers on the course can be a concern as a lip on some of them can make extraction of your ball difficult. The front nine with its open, rolling, fairways tends to be more forgiving than the more heavily treed back nine. Two of the most challenging holes are the 7th and 18th. The 7th, a long par four that usually plays into a strong prevailing wind. At 421 yards it is imperative to get as much distance off the tee as possible to set up your second shot. The green is completely surrounded by water and requires nerves of steel on your approach shot. A difficult hole for any golfer.
